The Delicious Red Hatters attended a High Tea at Nana's Nook in Omak on May 11, 2005. The first item on the menu was scones with Devonshire cream, jam and lemon curd. The next course included curry chicken salad with fruit. Finger sandwiches were next on the menu, consisting of cucumber dill, salmon, date bread with cream cheese, club sandwich with egg salad, green olives, and ham salad. Last but not least came desserts, consisting of chocolate mousse, tea cakes, lemon squares,and hat shaped shortbread cookies, and of course tea, tea, and more tea. The Red hatters sipped four flavors of tea out of dainty old tea cups. Wonderful time!
