Saturday began with a Teddy bear picnic in Peace Arch Park. Games were played by the Red Hatters with our chapter doing well. Cindy Sackett won 3rd place in the bean spitting contest and Pat Henry placed second in the golf game. Camille forgot to let go of her egg in the egg toss and it went straight up and down in the crowd. Saturday evening we dressed in fancy attire and strutted our stuff. We had a wonderful dinner and had a visit from the Queen and a British Pub Night. The "Hats Across the Border" celebration ended Sunday with a goodbye and farewell brunch. We handed out apples to everyone and made many new friends and rekindled old friendships.
