The Coronation of Queen Mum Maxine was held at Company Creek Pizza on Tuesday, August 17th. Founding Queen Mum Carol crowned Maxine in a royal fashion. There were about 35 Red Hatters attending, three of whom came from the Okanogan Chapter.
Queen Mum Maxine was presented with flowers and a jeweled purple throne crafted by Lorita Bigelow and Linda McCoy. We all signed the royal seat in gold.
We enjoyed our no host luncheon and the cream puffs for dessert. A festive time was enjoyed by all. Thanks to all who contributed to this fun event.
